Today's problem solving, Marina Ocampo from Barangay San Roque, Marikina City, has this Filipino superstition dilemma about a shoe that was given to her by a friend, someone told her that "Shoes will bring bad luck" it's bothering her that, that superstition may become true in her case.

According to Joey De Leon to counter that superstition your should give "coins" in exchange for the shoes that was given to counter the "bad luck" superstition.  Jose Manalo said it's not true because, Tito Sotto has given him shoes several times and nothing bad happens, instead the opposite.

Donya Nidora has this to share, "I always gave shoes to my friends," and Paolo Ballesteros asks where are they now? And Donya Nidora said they all died, but it's not about the shoes the cause of death, is all natural causes and she advises Marina, not to take the superstition seriously and historically "Pamahiin" superstition in English came from the old past, when people have too much time on their hands and they began to make this "Pamahiin," it is coming from "Pamana ng mainipin."

She also pointed out Allan K's, habitual basketball shoe giving to the handsome basketball player, who won championship games, And I conclude that, that superstition is not true and she added it will make you more conscious about your life, if you follow all the superstitions.
