AlDub story used as a discussion topic in Filipino class at University of the Philippines

Eat Bulaga's Kalye Serye has already gone a very long way from making the fans of the show feels "Kilig", inspiring young people to express their creativity through songs, trailer videos, graphics and photo manipulation and even creating mobile game applications all through the AlDub accidental love team and its other characters.

Because the show's popularity and moral lessons and social relevance, it is used as a discussion topic in Filipino class at University of the Philippines.  According to professor Mykel Andrada "Aside from its moral lessons and beyond the moral, love and "kilig" notion, it has a deeper socio-political commentary on our society.

Behind AlDub's love story, the viewers must also see the true concept of love, which Lola Nidora's character represents through her advices and the wrong things that should be avoided like bribery, abuse, the use of money and influence to gain an advantage to other people.

These college students can truly relate with the AlDub story, it's open their minds on things and the moral values given by Lola Nidora through fun, comedic and entertaining ways.
