Bulgarian Airbag Prank

The Airbag safety system is now a standard feature on every modern vehicle manufactured today.  It protects the occupant or passenger of a car during a crash event.  It absorbs the impact energy of the driver to the steering wheel.

Its origin can be dated back as early as 1941 credited to two inventor one a German named Walter Linderer and the second an American named John W. Hetrick.  Its widespread adoption began in the 1990's in all American cars in the United States.

As world car production grows each year, more and more depreciated cars with a mint condition airbag system is being used as a plaything for adult people.

Like in this video shot in Bulgaria.  Three men, one is the prank victim.  They put the airbag in the middle of two stacked tires, placed a wooden cardboard on top of the tires that will serve as the seat of their victim.

All ready to go the airbag system is connected to a car battery, the camera man is ready, the person that will trigger the airbag is already and the prank victim is sitting on the top of the tires, inside it, is the airbag.

The countdown starts and they fired the airbag setting prank victim flies several feet above the tires.  The prank victim did not suffer any serious injuries.
