How to Draw in 3D - Optical Illusion

Today I'm gonna show you how to draw in 3d and make it look like things are coming out to the paper stop by taking a piece of paper and using a ruler and a pencil put a dot, all the way down the side to the paper at regular intervals I'm doing one every centimeter.

When you're done do the same time the other side.  Next I'm gonna take a wooden spoon, place it on the paper and using a pencil carefully draw a line all the way around it, then using a ruler and a pen we're gonna draw a line connecting the
Dots we made earlier like this, work your way down the page, but don't fill in the outline of the spoon, when you're done it should look like this.

Next we're going to use our pen to fill in the line and give our object a 3d effect this should make it look like it's coming out of the page when you're done you can add a little shading and rub out any pencil marks pretty cool huh.

Another really cool idea is to do the same again, but this time to draw around your hand fill in the lines as before, but remember to leave a space your fingers finish it off the same way as before, it's a really simple technique and great fun to do with children.

And if you want to be a bit more adventurous, you can try doing it with your favorite cartoon character, it's a little more complicated, but looks really cool and when you're done, you can even color it in line by line this also works really well with the Hound pretty cool huh.
