Maine Mendoza, who before became Yaya Dub is an online sensation because of her great Dubsmash videos which the netizens loved one of her Kriis Aquino Dubsmash video reached one million views within 24 hours after she posted it.
After her video went viral, the management of Eat Bulaga was probably looking for something new to add in their show, and they saw her Dubsmash videos and her potential as a Dubsmash comic performer.
She was given a role as Divina Ursula Bukbukova Smash or Yaya Dub the personal assistant of Lola Nidora played by Wally Bayola they replace Dora the explorer in the "Juan for All, All for One" segment of the show.
This break for Maine Mendoza pave the way to the accidental and split screen loveteam and phenomenon AlDub with Alden Richards.
With Maine's undeniable talent and fame both in TV and Internet, it is no surprise that she is the Number One in the list of "Ang PInaka" online sensation in the Philippines.
