| Movie director Joey Javier Reyes tells Maine Mendoza's natural acting ability |
Manila, Philippines, Metro Manila Film Festival "My Bebe Love" film featuring the on-screen couple Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza topped the box office ticket sales, won third best picture and an acting award for Maine Mendoza as Best Supporting Actress in this year's film festival.
Days before the showing of their film, the cast did various press conference in different parts of the country to promote their movie entry in the festival.
In this press conference in Davao, one reporter asks Mr. Joey Reyes about how's Maine Mendoza as an actress? The director says that even Maine has not an acted in the film before, she has shown great acting ability in her internet trending Dubsmash videos that earned her the title Dubsmash queen of the Philippines.
According to Mr. Reyes, Dubsmashing is one very difficult form of acting, critic says that Maine was included in the film without any acting workshop, Mr. Reyes explained that workshop is just to enhance your talent, it will not make you talented.
Mr. Reyes also added that Maine Mendoza has the natural talent for comedy. Vic Sotto and Ai-Ai Delas Alas also gave their professional opinion about Maine Mendoza's acting talent.
