Is the MMFF ticket swapping an honest mistake or an intentional act? |
Manila, Philippines, Metro Manila Film Festival first day had a controversy between two competing films "My Bebe Love" featuring ALDUB (Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza) also the star Vic Sotto and Ai-Ai Delas Alas, the other film is Beauty and the Bestie starring Vice Ganda and Coco Martin the two films are competing for the box office ticket sales.
This competition has its roots in the television channel battle between GMA and ABS-CBN, particularly their noontime show program Eat Bulaga for GMA and It's Showtime under ABS-CBN. In the MMFF Movie "My Bebe Love" was produced by Television And Production Exponents Philippines, Inc., under GMA Network, while "Beauty and the Bestie" was produced by Star Cinema under ABS-CBN.
Back to the controversy, ALDUB fan cried foul when she realized that the ticket she bought and presented in the cinema entrance where for the other movie (Beauty and the Bestie), this realization came after she finished watching the "My Bebe Love" movie, then she immediately posted her ticket picture at Twitter informing other ALDUB fans.

My Bebe Love director Mr. Joey Reyes gave his warning to ALDUB fans to be aware of this cinema counter wrong ticket issuances and later the director confirmed the incident was true and advise the fans to be calm, civil and diligent.
ALDUB NATION: Just make sure you get the right ticket before you leave the counter. It COULD be an honest mistake but still ... BE AWARE.
