Eat Bulaga's "Dabarkads" Real Names

Manila, Philippines, Eat Bulaga the longest running noontime variety show in the country was first aired on July 30, 1979, hosted by Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey De Leon together with Chiqui Hollman and the late Richie Reyes (a.k.a. Richie d' Horsie) were the original hosts at RPN 9.

The show got a big break when they introduced a new character in their problem solving part of Juan for all, All for Juan segment of Eat Bulaga, it was "Yaya Dub" played by Maine Mendoza, a nanny for Lola Nidora.

After few short weeks Yaya Dub was paired with Alden Richards a handsome young actor also part of Eat Bulaga, in an unusual pairing the two actors was loved by the television viewers of Eat Bulaga, capturing a new generation of viewers and successfully integrating social media to its show.
