Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach guested at Kelly and Michael live, hosted by Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan, Pia colorfully recounted her journey to Miss Universe Beauty Pageant "It took me three attempts to join Miss Universe!" Pia tried three times at "Binibining Pilipinas" Beauty Pageant to earn the rights to represent the country in this grand beauty competition.
Her thought after Steve Harvey incorrectly announced Miss Colombia the winner, she said, "I was just thinking: Okay, I made it this far and I'm pretty sure I made my country proud. That's good enough for me. I know I did everything I could, I know I did very well."
Meanwhile, at the Good Morning America show guesting Pia was asks about the possibility of sharing the crown with Ms. Columbia she said "I think it would be a little bit difficult for two girls to share a crown, but I have high hopes that this will give great opportunities for me and Miss Colombia and the rest of the contestants"
