A pet tiger cub in Doha, Qatar got loose and wandered on the expressway that causes traffic nightmares for motorists.

Video and photos of the incident were shared on Twitter.

Doha news report says "We assure everyone that the authorities are following what has been circulating (on social media) regarding a tiger being seen in specific areas of the country."

And according to that report "Keeping a big cat such as a tiger is illegal in Qatar, but it is not uncommon for people to keep exotic animals as a status symbol."
