They have something which is very special, they have no skeletal at all, not internal, not external, so they are really soft, but there's only one hard part of their body and that is the beak.
Their predators are harbor seals, sea otters and sperm whales, in addition, the octopus along with cuttlefish and squid are major sources of protein for human.
We see in this video the battle between the giant pacific octopus and harbor seal, for awhile it seems that the octopus is winning, but once the seal got the octopus by its mouth it's all over, a good fight though for the octopus.
