Shark dies after being dragged out of the ocean for 'selfie'

Animal welfare groups are outraged by an incident involving beach goers and lifeguards who pulled out a blue shark out of shallow water with ropes and small fishing net and letting it die while they took selfies.

The incident happens on the beach in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic these lifeguard and tourist is from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

They tie the shark up and place a buoy around its head and mouth, they started parading the shark for selfies while this poor and distressed shark slowly suffocating.

By the time the group had finished taking their photos the shark was dead and it's becoming an international disturbing trend where marine life is being pulled-out from it's natural environment just to have their "Selfie".
