Jeff Longo is walking on the street of St. Petersburg in Florida when he found this animal in near death, he was told that he will not be able to save this animal's life, but he tried anyway.
Months later he has this proof that love and determination are always good. The animal is a Southern Flying Squirrel who probably got separated from its mother.
Longo told the Daily Mail, “I posted pictures on Reddit that day and had a bunch of know-it-alls tell me she would die, because I am not an animal rehabber.” But this didn't get him down.
Longo got permission from his boss to take his new friend with him at work, so he could take care of him.
