The humble and in tears PNP Chief vows to clean the police organization before the Senate hearing

Manila, Philippines - The Senate committee on public order and dangerous drugs together with the committee on justice and human rights is now conducting their inquiry/investigation on the killing of Mayor Rolando Espinosa of Albuera, Leyte.

Today will be the Day 2 of the Senate investigation, during the inquiry Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri pointed out irregularities and unusual actions of CIDG police personnel who served the search warrant on the Mayor's detention cell around 4am at the Baybay sub-provincial jail last November 5, which resulted in a shot out according to law enforcement.

Three cops that were involved in the death of Albuera Mayor Rolando Espinosa regularly received payola from his son Drug Lord Kerwin, who was arrested in Abu Dhabi and now a witness in this Senate investigation.

With the police organization under strong scrutiny and pressure, PNP Chief Ronald Dela Rosa express his frustration and humility in tears before the Senate hearing, however, he vows to clean the police organization to the best of his ability.  Hearing this from the humble Chief PNP makes you think that there's a real hope against the war on drugs.
