A sweet tween ventriloquist named Darci Lynne Farmer from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma amazes the judges with her ventriloquist singing you heard that right, she's both a ventriloquist and a singer, winning the hearts of the audience, judges and television viewers and she was this season's first Golden Buzzer thanks to Mel B.
Before her audition performance on stage, she told why she took up ventriloquism, she said Petunia (her puppet rabbit) and her are alike in terms of shyness adding “For me it’s always been, you know, hard to talk to people. I’m not good at eye-contact, and things like that.”
Darci and her rabbit pal sang jazz classic Summertime, they were all stunned by her performance and she received a standing ovation from the audience and judges, including Simon Cowell, meanwhile Mel B the former Spice Girl told her “You made my heart melt.”
Darci got her rabbit toy on her 10th birthday and that gift helped her overcome her shyness and got her into ventriloquism.
