Tianjin, China Port Warehouse Explosions |
Last August 12, 2015 there were a series of explosions occurred at a container storage station at the Port of Tianjin, which is located in the Binhai New Area of Tianjin, China.
A warehouse at the port owned by Ruitai Logistics, a company specializing in handling hazardous and flammable chemicals like sodium cyanide, sodium nitrate, calcium carbide, potassium nitrate and ammonium nitrate that causes the initial blast.
Chinese officials are not yet telling what triggered the blast and they're still investigating the tragic incident.
How strong the explosions? This footage will show us how heavy it was, the video was taken just blocks away from the port where the chemical warehouse is located.
People who were near the port started filming the inferno, just before one of several big explosions that sent fireballs and smoke over the surrounding buildings.
The man and his companions felt that they are in danger after a very huge explosion that scared the hell out of them and his cell phone screen went white and they decided to evacuate their building.
