The Philippine television viewers are one in watching Eat Bulaga's Kalye
It is for the first time in Philippine television history that this phenomenon happens, fans are organizing themselves from a physical group of people to social media Facebook groups and fan pages, it seems that fans are self organizing themselves.
Viewers are emotionally in "Kilig" mode when the two are exchanging love songs and promises to each other and also feels sad and irritated when the antagonist like Lola Nidora and Frankie Arinoli are doing their schemes to separate the two.
And most of all the viewers are excited to see the two meet at the show personally and even wishes that the two will become a real couple someday, because of the love chemistry that they see in their show.
Meanwhile, Lola Nidora objection of two lovers to be together and schemed to put Alden down, and that will stop him from pursuing Yaya Dub any longer. Lola Nidora disagrees with the idea of the two to be together in such a short time after seeing each other on TV. She believes that true love will wait and requires perseverance and test to prove what they feel is right and true.
Lola Nidora's advice and objection seem harsh, but it brought a very important point to the younger generation not to be in a hurry to have a love relationship.
And why do fans love AlDub? The "Kilig" emotional reaction of the two are true and it was captured on camera and it is very unique unscripted, no formal scene locations and it was done on the streets and Barangays, no retake acting as you go, with side comments coming from the host and of course talented actors and comedians.
